Hi - I’m Rachel, a self-taught illustrator originally from Hull in North East England, now living in Brittany in France.

I work mostly in mixed-media, using paint, pencils, pen and collage. I draw inspiration from childhood memories, the people I meet and the sometimes surprising magic of everyday life.

When I’m not painting I enjoy spending time with friends and family, walking my special studio assistant Ziggy (border collie extraordinaire), running, taking photographs and playing the cello in my local orchestra.
